2009 - The Story of the Season
 
The season is now well and truly over. In contrast to previous seasons, both Divisions were much more closely contested.  A brief overview follows:
 
Division A: Richings Park were once more Divisional Champions with 6 wins. 
 
Division B: Aldwickbury Park topped the Division also with 6 wins.
 
The final was held at Wycombe Heights on a day with lots of weather and a long round. Aldwickbury Park and Richings were tied at 3 matches apiece and Aldwickbury were victorious on the first extra hole.

Aldwickbury Park hosted this year's event on Sunday 19th October. Once again, the format was a better ball competition and our hosts successfully accommodated 5 pairs from each of the 12 clubs. The winners were Aldwickbury Park with a team score of 194; each of their five pairs contributing between 36 and 41 stableford points to this marvellous total.

This year's event took place at Richings Park GC on Saturday 21st October. This involved ll teams playing a series of foursomes, fourballs and singles matches, rather like the Ryder Cup.
